Trailer for The REF

The build up to the marriage equality referendum has begun, and for one family it's very personal!
Clive, Susanne and their son Oisin must battle against the dark forces of the sanctimonious Deirdre Kilbride, self-proclaimed leader of ‘Mammy's For God', aided by her son Damien with the unlikely support of Seamie and Kevin, two gay men strongly opposed to marriage equality.
Matters come to a frenzied climax in an all singing-and-dancing debate on National Television, featuring original songs including, 'I Love the Gays' and 'Stand Proud, Stand Tall'

The Ref is a comedy which puts a funny, but satirical lens on the trials and triumphs of one of Ireland’s greatest achievements.

7.30pm Monday 2nd-Sat 7th May (Matinees at 2,30pm on Mon 2nd and Sat 7th) at teh Pearse Centre, 27 Pears Road, Dublin. Tickets €15/13 Matinees €10 available at www.gaytheatre.ie
