How do you get involved in Acting Out?
Acting Out is based in Outhouse on Capel Street in Dublin.
The time to join is SEPTEMBER when we re-start our programme of workshops and classes. These run until December, every Wednesday 7-9pm at the Outhouse. You do not have to audition to come to these.
In February we often do a programme of short plays, and in the summer a full length play. These are a mix of new writing, Irish premieres of modern international LGBTQ+ Plays and classics of the queer canon. We also do side projects with members of the group and other creatives.
For the past few years we have also presented work abroad including Brighton Fringe Festival, Prague Fringe Festival and the Outburst Festival in Belfast.
